Top Things to Do on Your Las Vegas Vacation
A little bit of Paris right in the heart of Las Vegas must not be missed. The Eiffel Tower Experience is something that for sure only happens in Vegas and of course Paris.
PR Log (Press Release) – Jan 19, 2010 – Las Vegas is the vacation Mecca. Las Vegas has revamped itself over the years and has come up with a way to make Las Vegas not only the adult play ground that it is but also to make it a fun place for people of all ages. Las Vegas vacations can be planned so the whole family will have something to do.
There are a slew of things to do in Vegas but there are some must dos while you are there. Regardless of which hotel you are staying at a visit to the Mirage is warranted. The Mirage, like all of the hotels, has become a destination in and of itself. It is hard to say what the most amazing feature of the Mirage is. There is a volcano that faces the strip that erupts every hour on the hour from dusk to dawn that is pretty spectacular, and then of course there is the Dolphin preserve inside the hotel and the tropical atrium also located inside the hotel.
The fountains at the Bellagio are amazing and are worth a quick look. Anywhere up and down the strip the sights will wow you, so plan on spending a night or three walking around to check things out.
The Bellagio also is home to the Botanical Gardens and Conservatory located right behind the main lobby. It features glass work art and rare and exotic flowers from all over the world Cirque De Soleil currently has four permanent shows in Las Vegas and should not be missed. This is definitely not the American version of a circus. It is imaginative and dazzling.
There are several permanent shows throughout Las Vegas with celebrity headliners, catching one of these shows is a must. They typically are lavish and really do a fine job of presenting Las Vegas for the town of sparkle that it is.
A trip to the Liberace Museum is a fun way to spend a few hours, Liberace was Mr. Las Vegas and the museum does a fine job of presenting memorabilia associated with this piano man.
The Stratosphere Tower is a show stopper. This massive tower has an observation deck, a restaurant and just for good measure a few thrill rides located at the top of the tower. The highest roller coaster in the world is located at the top, if the rollercoaster does not prove daring enough then give the "Big Shot" a try. The Big Shot is a reverse bungee jump that shoots the rider one hundred and sixty feet into the air at a speed of around forty miles per hour. There is one more ride located at the top of the tower that is sure to get the adrenaline pumping. Insanity, The Ride is aptly named, this huge mechanical arm juts out from the tower and suspends the riders sixty feet over the edge of the building and then spins at a speed of three g's, this ride is not for the faint of heart.
A little bit of Paris right in the heart of Las Vegas must not be missed. The Eiffel Tower Experience is something that for sure only happens in Vegas and of course Paris. This replica of the Eiffel Tower is half the size of the original but no less of a wow.
