This more than internationally known green ecologist’s anglers well as prominent hunter’s pleasure land have made a major announcement. The measure is of an unprecedented development and upgrade turning what was a carefully held secret of an outdoorsmen and ecological hideaway into a fully accessible, luxury getaway and vacation spot. . Indeed this is the largest development in the province of Manitoba – outside the major metropolitan areas of Winnipeg.

The Lake Manitoba Narrows hotel and water park complex, in the upgrade announcement, has been said to include a 198 room hotel and conference center. The hotel complex will be completed with two full dining room areas. Lastly for family and vacationers will be the crowning touch – the 32,000 square foot recreational water park- great for kids and adult vacationers as well.
The hotel complex is planned as a year round resort – only two hours away from Winnipeg. With its conference faculties, world class fishing and hunting availability, as well as virgin outdoors areas for eco and green tourism, it should serve as more than a strong lure for business training and sales conferences. Lots of bait to attract visitors, tourists and those attending conferences and workshops but isolated enough both to be rustic and yet keep those attendees focused and nearby on hand. Construction is expected to begin shortly, in the spring of 2010 with a completion estimated date of spring 2012.
