blog post by Ihor Cap - Internet Marketing Consultant for EzReklama and a web author at http://articlesandblogs.ezreklama.com web site.
Once in a while I come across a page on the internet that is information rich and it is one that I would like to share with other web authors who might need that information. Today, that page is about YouTube’s Statistics page. It’s a great page to reference for marketing and promotions purposes or to use as supporting statistics. Need another reason? OK. There are over 3 billion reasons to market or promote your services and products on YouTube because that is how many viewers drop by daily to view a YouTube video. I got that information off their statistics page that caters to the press and other media agents. It’s a running statistics page that provides the reader, web author or press writer with great summary information on Traffic Stats, YouTube Partner Programming, Monetization, Product Metrics, Content ID scans, and Social metrics. These are wonderful pearls of information that writers can incorporate in their marketing and promotion articles or blog posts. For the most recent information see http://www.youtube.com/t/press_statistics.
The stats below are taken from the YouTube Press Statistics page and are true as at January 2012. See their home press page for complete media press kits at http://www.youtube.com/t/press.
