Ukrainians Conquering The Frontiers Of Space

Featured Article

Space flight today is far different from the Space Race between the United States and the U.S.S.R. in the 1950s and 1960s. Back then, the Ukrainian-born rocket engineer and designer, Serhiy Pavlovich Korolyov (a.k.a. Sergei Korolev) masterminded the successful launches of Sputnik and Vostok 1 projects. Sputnik was a beach ball-sized satellite launched on October 4, 1957 and Vostok 1 was a Soviet spacecraft that launched the first human being into space on April 12, 1961. The Soviet Union maintained his anonymity allegedly because of the key role he played in these projects. This anonymity continued for decades even though the “KGB knew that there was really no need to keep his name secret”, say’s Khrushchev’s son Sergei in the October 2007 issue of the guardian.co.uk in an article entitled “How Russia lost the moon.” Others maintain it was because of his ethnic background. Many information databases still refer to Korolyov and prefer to think of him as “Soviet” (which is frequently and mistakenly interpreted as Russian). However, Korolyov himself registered his nationality as Ukrainian when he attended the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute in 1924, says the 1973 journal “Forum” (A Ukrainian Review) in their article about “The Ukrainian Who Conquered Space.”

We All Want Freedom. How come we live in America and so many can't reach the American dream?

By Russell Matthynssens,  United States of America

It is really a simple answer. No one teaches us the definition of perseverance and how to manage finances whether personal or business. Learn the Top Ten things You Must Have!

(Free-Press-Release.com) August 2, 2009 --

Business Owner, Cheryl Matthynssens recently shared at a business meeting with a group of others struggling to make it from home, the skills necessary to achieve success in today's recession marketplace. Cheryl shared afterwards, "It is really a simple answer. We learn how to drive. We learn how to read. We learn how to write. No one teaches us the definition of perseverance and how to manage finances whether personal or business. No one teaches you BEFORE you open your business how to market."

Here are the top ten things she went over last night:

First and foremost, you must have a Long Term Goal that is broken down to a short time goal. From that short term goal, you should build your daily goals.

Second: Your Long Term goals need to be visual. Some businesses teach a dream book. Others will teach you to make a vision board. Either way, you need to have some way of looking at what you want to achieve daily.

Third: Structure. You have to set a schedule. If your goal was to have time with the children, but you are in a panic mode constantly managing your websites, marketing campaigns or phones, you gained nothing.

Fourth: Don't give up! Statistics show that many people stop trying to reach goals, RIGHT BEFORE they will reach them. Just short and they walk away from what they wanted most. Don't give up!

Fifth: Education! Whatever business you choose, you need education. You need to know your products, your website tools, your shopping cart, your merchant account and most important your marketing! Do not choose a home business that just hands you a product and nothing else if you do not already have training in these things.

Sixth: Focus! If you get to your office on time, but you are easily distracted by an email, a phone call that is not moving you towards your goals or even daydreams, that time in your office is wasted. You need to keep your mind where you are at any given moment. Whether having dinner with your significant other or on a business call, focus on the moment. Stay on task and you will always stay ahead.

Seventh: Affirmation - We live in a negative society. If you think you will fail, you will. Her personal affirmation was: "I have abundance, heath and success in my life."

Eighth: A successful marketing plan. If your home business company did not provide that, then you need to find one. She suggested that if that was the case, consider going to http://www.balancedfreedom.com

Ninth: Financial Management - Take the time to get this education. Through books like those listed below or websites like this one: http://www.wmitoday.com/latiera . These are just educations pieces that I have used, but do not limit yourself to my list. There are so many knowledgeable people out there. Access them!

Her last one was the surprise. Only then did she mention a good product line. Cheryl stated, "If you do not have the other nine, what you are selling will not matter."
