Ukrainian TOP Managers realized the value and usefulness of Salary Survey as a tool that allows you to stay informed of the latest trends in the Ukrainian labor market.
PR Log (Press Release) – May 07, 2010 – The 17th Salary Survey (an annual project of "Ancor SW" Company) showed data from 62 companies, 17 industries, 22 367 employees, 366 positions.
This year, as the results of statistical research, we again observe an 8% increase in the number of the Ukrainian companies that provided information for the "Salary Survey 2010" (although high rate of 70% remains for foreign companies).
"This trend reflects a balanced and reasonable willingness of the Ukrainian employers to fight for the retention of human resources capital while minimizing risks of "underpaid / overpaid". TOP managers and HR specialists are getting used to Salary and Benefits Surveys as to a useful measuring instrument for verification of company's external competitiveness on the deficient market of qualified specialists." - commented Alla Konyaeva, Project Manager of "Salary and Benefits Survey 2010"
According to the Survey, 50% of employers are interested in staff increase in 2010. Recollecting 30% reduction in 2009, this good news wants to be called as a sustainable trend. Reduction of personnel appears in plans of only 6% of respondents. For the current year companies are planning to increase the salaries rate by an average of 10-12%. In 2010 an increase of salaries has resumed and the average for the sampled companies shows 112% relative to 2009. It is caused by the following three factors: the intention to retain key personnel, the high level of inflation in the country and the high demand for hiring the best specialists by enticement. Therefore, the very likely reality for tomorrow is an appreciation of key specialists.
Data from "Salary Survey 2010" demonstrate that the articles and the share of HR budgets distribution in the new year do not signify something good for providers of recruitment services, training companies - an average 2% of the budget for these services doesn't allow companies to consume a large amount of these services.
