Frontera Copper Corporation announces that the filing of the Company’s financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2010, including the related management discussion and analysis, annual information form and CEO and CFO certifications (collectively, the “Required Documents”) will not be filed by the required filing deadline of March 31, 2011.Sand Making Production Line
The Required Documents will not be filed before the required deadline due to annual audit procedures taking somewhat longer than expected. There is no disagreement with the auditors in connection with audit scope or accounting matters.
The Company is working diligently with its accounting staff and its auditors and anticipates that it will be in a position to file the Required Documents on or before April 11, 2011.
The Company has applied to the applicable securities regulatory authorities and received a management cease trade order related to the Company’s securities to be imposed against some or all of the persons who are currently directors or officers of the Company to trade securities of the Company. The management cease trade order will be in effect until the Required Documents are filed.
Until the Required Documents are filed, the Company intends to provide information in accordance with National Policy 12-203 Cease Trade Orders for Continuous Disclosure Defaults.Construction Waste Recycling Crushing Plant
Sono Resources Inc. has entered into a formal Share Purchase Agreement (the “Agreement”) with Tignish (PTY) Ltd., a Botswana company (the “Vendor”), to purchase 95 percent of the issued and outstanding shares (the “Shares”) of Bonnyridge (PTY) Ltd., also a Botswana company (“Bonnyridge”), which is the legal and beneficial owner of three mineral license blocks located in Northwestern Botswana, Africa (the “Property”).
In accordance with the terms of the Agreement, and in order to purchase the Shares, the Company is required to provide the Vendor with: (i) an initial cash payment of USD$200,000 within three business days of the execution of the Agreement; (ii) a further cash payment of USD$100,000 on or before closing; and (iii) 6,500,000 restricted common shares of the Company at closing; and which closing must presently occur prior to April 29, 2011 unless otherwise mutually determined.
Teck Resources Limited announced today that Teck and Local 9346 of the United Steelworkers of America have reached a memorandum of settlement covering the Elkview operation. A previous tentative agreement announced on March 15, 2011 was not ratified by the union membership. With the assistance of mediator Vince Ready, additional talks have led to this memorandum of settlement.
The parties agree that they will be recommending this memorandum of settlement to their respective groups. The union ratification vote is scheduled to be complete by Thursday, April 7, 2011. If the agreement is ratified, production at the mine could resume by Friday, April 8, 2011. No other terms of the agreement will be disclosed until ratification occurs.Basalt Crusher
